Your MP3 file
Download MP3Use a self-contained MP4 with exactly one AAC audio track and zero or one video track. Audio must be mono or stereo at 8–48 kHz. Video is intentionally omitted. Multiple audio or video tracks, other stream kinds, external data references and unsupported audio codecs are rejected. Tags and chapters are omitted; precision reduction and new MP3 loss require your choices.

Which MP4 files can I use?
Use a self-contained .mp4 file with exactly one AAC audio track and at most one video track. Audio must be mono or stereo at 8–48 kHz. Other audio codecs, extra tracks, other stream kinds and external data references are not supported. Inspection checks the actual file; current limits appear above.
Does this convert or keep the video?
This task extracts audio only and intentionally omits the video. It does not create a video output or promise support for every MP4 video encoding. Keep the original MP4 if you need its video.
What changes in the MP3 audio?
Tags and chapters are omitted. When inspection requires it, decoded samples are reduced to signed 16-bit precision with your consent. MP3 introduces a new lossy encoding at 128 kbit/s; it cannot restore detail lost in AAC encoding. Review each required choice. Identical sound or a smaller file is not guaranteed.
