Comma-separated UTF-8 only, without a byte-order mark. Header names must be unique and nonempty. Select LF or CRLF to match your file; separators and types are not guessed. IDs and leading zeros stay text, and formula-looking text stays text. This creates one plain worksheet, without formulas or styling. The current file and cell limits below still apply.

How to convert CSV to XLSX

  1. Choose a comma-separated UTF-8 CSV with a unique, nonempty header for every column.
  2. Select Windows (CRLF) or Unix (LF) to match the file, then choose Inspect CSV.
  3. Check the reported rows and columns, then choose Convert to XLSX. Any required choice appears before conversion.
  4. Download the XLSX file. It contains one worksheet with your headers, cell text and row order.

Will IDs and leading zeros change?

No. Values such as 00123 and 9007199254740993 remain text. Numeric-looking dates and amounts are not turned into numbers or dates. Text beginning with =, +, - or @ stays text instead of becoming an Excel formula.

Which CSV files can I use?

Use UTF-8 without a byte-order mark, comma separators and consistent LF or CRLF records. Headers must be unique and nonempty, and each row must have the same number of columns. Quoted commas and quoted line breaks are supported; tab and NUL characters are rejected. The current file, row and cell limits are shown above.

Does it add formulas or spreadsheet formatting?

The output is one plain worksheet of text cells. It does not add formulas, numeric types, styling, merged cells or multiple sheets. Choose the source line ending explicitly; the converter does not guess a delimiter or column type.
