Tab-separated to comma-separated
TSV to CSV
Convert a tab-separated UTF-8 table into a comma-separated CSV. Choose the source line ending, inspect the table, select a CSV line ending, then convert and download. Commas and literal quotes are escaped for CSV.
Use UTF-8 without a byte-order mark, literal tab separators and one line per record. Headers must be unique and nonempty. Quoting does not escape tabs or line breaks in TSV; quotes are ordinary text. This CSV export rejects control characters and values beginning with =, +, - or @ after whitespace. Empty strings are supported.

How to convert TSV to CSV
- Choose a UTF-8 TSV with literal tab separators, unique nonempty column headers and one line per record.
- Select Windows (CRLF) or Unix (LF) to match the source file, then choose Inspect TSV.
- Check the rows and columns, select the CSV output line ending and choose Convert to CSV. Incompatible fields are rejected.
- Download the CSV file. Commas and literal quotes are escaped for CSV while the inspected text and row order are preserved.
Which TSV files can I convert?
Use UTF-8 without a byte-order mark, literal tabs between fields and consistent LF or CRLF records. Headers must be unique and nonempty, and each row must have the same field count. This TSV profile uses one line per record: quotes do not escape tabs or line breaks.
What happens to commas and quotes?
A comma in a TSV field stays part of that field. CSV output quotes fields when needed and doubles literal quote characters. The converter preserves values rather than merely replacing every tab with a comma. Empty strings are supported.
Are IDs and formula-looking values supported?
Encoded text values, leading zeros and row order are preserved. This CSV export rejects control characters and values beginning with =, +, - or @ after whitespace. Spreadsheet apps can infer numbers when opening CSV; select text columns in their import options to keep IDs as text.
