How to convert PDF text to Word

  4. Compare it with the original PDF. Check characters, paragraph order and page breaks, then adjust the document for your needs.
Will the Word file look exactly like my PDF?

The result uses simple editable paragraphs. Original fonts, page layout, images and table structure are not preserved. Tables can appear as ordinary text. Review the text and arrange the Word document after conversion.

Can I convert a scanned PDF?

This converter does not recognize text inside images. A scan needs an existing usable text layer. A PDF with no extractable text is rejected instead of producing an empty Word document.

Is the text editable?

Extracted text becomes ordinary DOCX paragraphs that you can change in a compatible editor. Extraction depends on how the PDF stores its text, so check characters, spaces and reading order against the original.

Does conversion change my original PDF?

Conversion creates a separate DOCX file. Keep the original PDF as the reference for its appearance and content.

Can I convert a protected or interactive PDF?

Encrypted PDFs and PDFs with interactive forms are not accepted by this conversion. Use a supported text-based PDF.
