Your MP3 file
Download MP3Use a complete, self-contained WebM file with one mono or stereo Opus audio track and at most one VP8, VP9 or AV1 video track. Audio-only WebM is also supported. Streamed or partial recording chunks, generic Matroska files, Vorbis audio, extra audio tracks, subtitles and data tracks are not supported. Any video is omitted. MP3 adds a new lossy encoding and cannot restore detail lost in Opus encoding. Use a sample rate of 8–48 kHz.

Which WebM (Opus) files can I convert?
Use a complete, self-contained WebM file containing one Opus audio track and at most one VP8, VP9 or AV1 video track. Audio-only WebM is also supported. Streamed or partial recording chunks, other audio codecs, generic Matroska, extra audio, subtitle and data tracks are not supported. Some recording files that use open-ended chunks must be finalized or exported before conversion.
Will MP3 restore the original sound?
No. These inputs already use lossy audio compression. MP3 adds another lossy encoding at 128 kbit/s, so identical sound is not guaranteed.
What happens to metadata and sample precision?
Inspected tags and chapters are omitted after your confirmation. If decoding requires a reduction to signed 16-bit samples, review and confirm that separate choice before converting. Creating MP3 requires a separate choice for new lossy encoding.
Does the output contain video?
No. This task extracts the supported audio track and omits any video. It does not transcode or download a video file.
What are the file and duration limits?
The converter shows the current file-size and duration limits before upload. Only mono or stereo audio at 8–48 kHz is supported. A file within those limits can still be rejected for an unsupported container, codec or stream layout.
