Convert an SVG to PNG

PNG is a raster image: keep your original SVG for editing or printing at another size. The preview uses browser SVG rendering, so check text and embedded images before sharing.

Will my PNG keep a transparent background?

Yes. Unpainted areas stay transparent. A white rectangle or other background drawn inside the SVG stays part of the image.

What size will the PNG be?

The converter uses the size reported by your browser for the SVG. Larger images are reduced proportionally to a longest side of at most 4096 pixels and the displayed pixel limit. Check the preview dimensions before downloading.

Why do fonts, linked pictures or animation look different?

PNG stores a still raster image. Browser SVG rendering may omit external pictures, unavailable fonts or animated content. For predictable results, embed pictures and outline text in the source SVG, then compare the preview with the original.
