Convert WebP to TIFF
Choose a WEBP file for TIFF conversionWEBP to TIFF converter
TIFF output is preset. The output is one TIFF (.tif) per source image with LZW compression; inputs are not merged into a multi-page document. Each source image has its own output task and file; this workflow does not export animation. Review transparency, color and metadata choices, then choose Add task and Run when ready. No task is created automatically.

WEBP to TIFF questions
Which WebP files can I convert to TIFF?
This workflow supports ordinary unsigned 8-bit still WebP images. High-bit, CMYK, animated and unqualified file variants are outside its scope. Each source image has its own output task and file; this workflow does not export animation.
What quality will my TIFF have?
The saved image uses TIFF LZW compression. It does not recover detail lost in the source or promise to preserve the complete source document, every metadata field or a print DPI. Converting cannot restore detail already lost in WebP encoding.
Will transparency, colors and metadata be identical?
Review the transparency and color settings before adding the task. The target can represent transparency, but this page does not guarantee identical RGB or alpha values, full metadata or original color-profile preservation. Check the downloaded image in the receiving app.
Will all source pages or frames be exported?
Each source image has its own output task and file; this workflow does not export animation.
Will the result always be smaller or accepted by my app?
No. Compare the actual download size with your limit and confirm that the receiving app accepts TIFF. A different extension alone does not guarantee acceptance, smaller bytes or print readiness.
How to convert WEBP to TIFF
1. Choose your WebP image Select ordinary unsigned 8-bit still WebP images. High-bit, CMYK and animated input are outside this page's supported scope. Each source image has its own output task and file; this workflow does not export animation.
2. Review TIFF output Confirm TIFF is selected. The output uses LZW compression. Leave Width and Height blank to keep dimensions after orientation handling. This task does not set a print DPI or merge multiple images.
3. Review source and output choices Each source image has its own output task and file; this workflow does not export animation. Review any transparency/background, color-profile and metadata decisions. Complete metadata, original color-profile preservation and every file variant are not guaranteed.
4. Add the task, convert and download Choose Add task, then Run and download the TIFF. Check the actual image, file size and receiving app's requirements. Converting cannot restore detail already lost in WebP encoding.
