Convert AVIF to TIFF
Choose a AVIF file for TIFF conversionAVIF to TIFF converter
TIFF output is preset. Each source image has its own output task and file; this page does not export animation. Confirm TIFF is selected. The output uses LZW compression. Leave Width and Height blank to keep dimensions after orientation handling. This task does not set print DPI or recover detail lost in AVIF. Review transparency, color-profile and metadata choices. TIFF can represent transparency, but complete metadata, original profile preservation and identical pixels are not guaranteed. Choose Add task, then Run when ready. No task is created automatically; review loss choices before adding it.

AVIF to TIFF questions
Which AVIF files can I convert to TIFF?
This workflow supports ordinary unsigned 8-bit still AVIF images. High-bit, CMYK, Display-P3, animated and unqualified variants are outside its scope. Each source image has its own output task and file; this page does not export animation.
Will TIFF restore quality lost in AVIF?
No. LZW compression does not recreate detail already lost in the AVIF source. This conversion does not promise a smaller file, exact pixels, print DPI or print readiness.
Will color profiles and metadata be kept?
Review transparency, color-profile and metadata choices. TIFF can represent transparency, but complete metadata, original profile preservation and identical pixels are not guaranteed. Complete metadata preservation is not guaranteed; check the saved image in the receiving app.
Will all pages, frames or icon sizes be exported?
Each source image has its own output task and file; this page does not export animation. Inputs are not merged into a multi-page document.
Will the result always be smaller or accepted by my app?
No. Check the actual download bytes and confirm that the receiving app accepts TIFF. Conversion cannot restore detail already lost in AVIF encoding. A different extension alone does not guarantee acceptance or print readiness.
