Convert JPG to TIFF
Choose a JPG file for TIFF conversionJPG to TIFF converter
TIFF output is preset and uses LZW compression. Choose a supported JPG image, add the output task, then convert and download its TIFF. JPG has no transparency; saving it as TIFF does not create a transparent background. High-bit and CMYK input are outside this workflow's supported scope.

JPG to TIFF questions
Which JPG images can I save as TIFF?
This workflow supports unsigned 8-bit RGB or grayscale JPG images. High-bit, animated and CMYK inputs are outside its scope. It does not promise support for every source variant.
Does TIFF make the image sharper or restore quality?
No. LZW compression is lossless for the saved JPG pixels, but TIFF cannot restore detail already lost in JPEG encoding. Converting the file format does not create missing image detail or increase its original resolution.
Will TIFF keep transparency?
JPG has no transparency; saving it as TIFF does not create a transparent background.
Will several images become one multi-page TIFF?
No. Each source image has its own output task and TIFF file. This conversion does not merge images into a multi-page TIFF document.
Is the TIFF guaranteed to be smaller or ready for printing?
No. TIFF can be larger than the source image. Check the actual file size, dimensions and the receiving app's requirements. This workflow does not promise a particular print DPI, CMYK conversion or print readiness.
How to convert JPG to TIFF
1. Choose your JPG image Select supported unsigned 8-bit RGB or grayscale JPG images. High-bit, animated and CMYK inputs are outside this workflow's supported scope.
2. Confirm TIFF output Check that TIFF is selected. The output uses LZW compression. Leave Width and Height blank to keep the image dimensions after orientation handling.
3. Review the output choices JPG has no transparency; saving it as TIFF does not create a transparent background. Review the color-profile and metadata choices. The converter creates one TIFF per source image; it does not combine the inputs.
4. Convert and download Add the output task, start conversion and download the TIFF. Check that the receiving app accepts the resulting file; file size, print DPI and print readiness are not guaranteed.
