Image conversion tools by source and output format

Choose a focused category when you already know the kind of image or document task you need. The complete tools list remains available when you want to compare every workflow.
Choose an output by transparency, animation, and compatibility
Start with the property the finished file must keep, then choose the smallest format that satisfies the destination. A format name alone is not enough when the source contains transparency, multiple frames, or document pages.
Questions before choosing this workflow
Can a JPG output keep a transparent background?
No. JPG does not store alpha transparency. Choose PNG or a compatible WebP output, or deliberately select the background color that should replace transparent pixels before exporting to JPG.
Will every converter preserve all frames from an animated source?
Not automatically. Confirm that the selected route is animation-aware. Use the GIF tools hub for frame creation or extraction when timing and frame order matter, and use a still-image route only when one representative frame is the intended result.
